Animated super villain, Fearless Leader, and his cronies
find themselves in the real world and set about making plans
to take control of the Earth. Who can save us? Step forward
everyone's favourite squirrel and moose - Rockey and Bullwinkle...
We
all grew up having watched at least one Saturday morning Rocky
and Bullwinkle cartoon. It was fun, it was wacky and a few
minutes on a Saturday morning is all this idea really merits.
This
may well be fun for the kids (they'd have to be very young
though) but this one will really stretch the accompanying
adults patients.
And
what is Robert De Niro doing? De Niro plays the part of the
villain. He was just beginning to show that he could do comedy
in Meet the Parents and then he goes and accepts this role.
Time to get another agent Mr De Niro.
If
you have a young child who begs you to go and see this with
them, think long and hard before doing so. 91 minutes is a
hell of a long time to twiddle your thumbs.
