In
series two of Angel, we are finding out more and more about
the dark avenger, even if it all isnt good, Keri Allen reports...
Series
two of Angel is definitely a step up from series one,
however you have to give one its credit, it was a great introduction,
made us all learn to love Cordy, and had a pretty amazing
finale.
This
time round Cordy and Wesley seem to come across as laurel
and Hardy style sidekicks, but they do give us some great
laughs. We get to learn more about Angel’s past, and every
episode is full of ‘will he / wont he turn evil’ anticipation
as law firm Wolfram and Hart take Angel close to the edge.
There
is also a change of base too, after the last office got blown
up, Angel turns a place from his past into his new home. This
series looks set to show us Angel’s dark side, and perhaps
by the end of the season we will get to find out which side
Angel will be playing for when it comes round to Apocolyse
time. And the added bonus of this season? Angel and crew have
to continuously go to a particular demon for help – and the
only way he can is to listen to them sing – check out Angel
Kareoke!
Watch
out later in the year for interviews with Buffy and Angel
cast and crew members.
